Senior Spotlights
Holly RicheyHolly Richey has lived in Whitewright her whole life. She loves the small town where everyone knows everyone. She also loves having the same teachers throughout the years. Asked about senior year, Holly replied, "Oof, it has been very stressful but eventful and exciting." After graduation Holly plans to attend Texas A&M University at Commerce and get a Bachelor's in Music Education.
Tim RicheyTim Richey has lived in Whitewright his whole life. He loves the small town setting which allows many different opportunities. "Senior year has kept me very busy, lots of planning and preparation for college," Tim states. After graduating from high school, Tim plans to attend Texas Tech University and study sports management.
Shelby NerlShelby Nerl moved to Whitewright in fourth grade. She loves the supportive teachers and friendly environment. Shelby says, "It is crazy to think I am a senior and so far it has been fun but I am ready for the next chapter." Shelby plans to attend Collin Community College and study American Sign Language after graduation.
Jake MillerJake Miller has lived in Whitewright his whole life. He said, "I love the small town where everyone knows everyone." "My senior year has been good, it seems like it is flying by," Jake exclaimed. After graduation, Jake plans to attend Texas A&M Commerce and get an Agricultural degree.
Micaela ChumleyMicaela Chumley moved to Whitewright in the 9th grade. She has always loved the supportive community and friendly people she has met. According to Micaela, "senior year has been awesome, I love all of the memories I have made and I can't wait for many new ones!" After graduation, Micaela plans to join the Air Force and become a flight nurse.
Bryan PritchettBryan Pritchett has lived in Whitewright his whole life. He has always liked the friendly community and supportive teachers. Senior year has been, "easy but fun,"according to Bryan. After he graduates, Bryan plans on attending UTI of Dallas to become a diesel technician.
Addie WhitenAddie Whiten moved to Whitewright in sixth grade. She loves how close everyone is and how nice the people are. Senior year has been good and stressful but she is excited to be a senior! Addie plans to attend either Pepperdine University or University of Texas at Austin. She plans to become a lawyer and then a politician.
Erica AlexanderErica Alexander moved to Whitewright in tenth grade. She loves how nice people are and how caring the teachers are. Senior year has been great and she has learned a lot more about what she wants to do in the future. Erica is going to major in nursing once she attends college.
Marcus ReevesMarcus Reeves moved to Whitewright in seventh grade. He loves the small school and getting to know everybody because of his big personality. Due to a recent shoulder injury, he cannot play football this year, he says, "This is a difficult obstacle, but I'm going to overcome it." "Senior year is nerve wracking but exciting because I get to start my own life and see what the future holds for me," he stated. Marcus does not know what college he wants to attend, but he wants to major in nursing.
